This free one-day health and wellness event showcases the latest
products and services for people with diabetes, healthy living, as well
as four anchor areas: Living Better Screenings, sponsored by Walmart;
Healthy Eating, sponsored by Giant Eagle Pharmacy; Have Fun/Get Active,
and Youth & Family Zone. The Diabetes Expo offers the public an
exceptional opportunity to talk with health care experts and lifestyle
coaches.
The Divabetic Pavilion with Mr. Divabetic, Max Szadek, and his Divabetic
Team will be returning to the Expo with its sassy, enlightening message.
"Diabetes Golden Rules by the Golden Girls" is the theme of this year‟s
Divabetic Pavilion. Also available at the Divabetic Pavilion will be
free beauty services, massages, consultations with diabetes experts,
giveaways and much more. The Divabetic goal is to empower and educate
women living with, at risk of, or affected by diabetes to „take charge‟
of their condition and live their lives like divas. Sherry Johnston, The
Biggest Loser-Season 9, Pink Team, will be speaking about Sleep Apnea in
the Pavilion at noon.

November Health Observances
November is well-known for being American Diabetes Month. There are
other observances that are related to diabetes, such as Diabetic Eye
Disease Month and Foot Health Issues Related to Diabetes Awareness
Month. November is also Lung Cancer Awareness Month, with the Great
American Smokeout coming on November 17. National Family Caregivers
Month promotes honoring those that give up so much so that they can help
